Jury service lies at the heart of our American judicial system. Service as a juror is the responsibility and obligation of all qualified citizens, as well as an opportunity to contribute to our system of justice and our communities. If you are selected to serve, we hope you find your service to be challenging, interesting and rewarding.
The Clerk of Superior Court and the jury staff thank you for your service.
Please check this website the day before you are scheduled to appear.
If your scheduled trial has been cancelled, you do not need to appear. Your name will go back into the jury pool, and you will be notified with a new summons at a later date.
Complete Your Questionnaire of Prospective Juror On-Line
If you have received a Questionnaire of Prospective Juror from the Superior Court, and would like to complete it online, you may do so here.
Once you have submitted your online questionnaire, it will be sent to jury personnel for processing. Based on the responses you have given, you will either be qualified or disqualified. You do not need to do anything after you submit your questionnaire unless you are submitting documentation for excusal.
If You Are Selected for Jury Service
You will receive a Summons in the mail directing you when and where to appear. When you arrive, you will check in with the jury clerk and wait in the jury assembly room until called into court. The jury clerk will provide you with information and answer any questions you may have. When you go into the courtroom, you will be asked a series of questions regarding your ability to serve as a juror. Based on your responses, the court may empanel you as a juror or excuse you. If a jury trial cancels, your name will go back in the jury pool, and you may receive another summons.
Once you have appeared for a jury trial and completed the jury selection process in full, your jury service is fulfilled. Whether you serve on a jury panel, or the Judge excuses you, your service is complete with us for two years.
IMPORTANT:Occasionally, and sometimes often, trials do cancel or get postponed. It is your responsibility as a summoned juror to keep yourself updated as to the status of the trial. This can be done by calling either one of the phone numbers on your summons or checking this website. If you appear for a trial that has cancelled or postponed, you will not be reimbursed for mileage and you will be re-summoned in the future.

WARNING: Court personnel will not call you asking for any personal information, such as your Social Security Number, Date of Birth or Driver's License information. Should you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the Court asking for this information, please do not give this information out over the phone.
Jury Scams: Victims of a jury scam get an e-mail containing a fake subpoena ordering recipients to testify before a grand jury, complete with seemingly genuine details like your name, a case number and court seal. However, the e-mails contain malware that can destroy a computer. Another version of a scam involves a phone call in which the caller claims to be a jury coordinator and intimidates victims into revealing personal information. Please retain personal information as the Mohave County Jury Clerk will not be requesting this type of sensitive data over a phone call.
